  We were booked and paid months in advance for a tasting for a friend's birthday. We arrived on time on our bus and were told at the gate that we can't come in because no tastings were allowed that day. After politely explaining that we have a booking, they begrudgingly allowed us to come in but with the caveat that our tasting was to be shorter than we had booked and paid for. Once inside, the staff treated us like it was a hassle to serve us, even though the bar at the cellar door was not busy. Tastings were given in the same used glasses, even if you were switching between red and white. One of the bartenders insisted on serving a tasting to my friend using a random dirty glass that was sitting on the bar - it wasn't my friend's glass, it was just sitting there with a heap of other dirty glassware on the bar. The grounds were nice.
